The agency originally opened in 1943 and became the Lester Taylor Agency in 1958. The agency began as a result of fulfilling a need in the community to assist local school systems with their insurance products. Upon the death of Lester Taylor, his wife Neva Rosier Taylor continued the agency mission under the present agency name of Taylor & Sons.
For more than 50 years, Taylor & Sons has been servicing the insurance needs of Louisiana School Systems, Employees and Retirees throughout the State. Today, while Taylor & Sons Insurance and Financial Services may have a variety of individual and commercial clients, the primary focus of the agency remains serving the needs of School System Employees. The name Taylor & Sons has become an icon in school systems for benefit enrollment and third party administrator services. Over the last 50 years, we have built the respect of our clients, the carriers we represent, as well as our competition in our market.
